Yep. :) There's a bird ringing station nearby and my big wish was to see a kingfisher up close. Just before I left, one got caught in the net and I got to see him and release him after he'd been ringed (it was a male). Of course, the next day moe were caught, but this one will always be special. :)
I never have gotten a present like that--I would love it!! Just amazing and so gorgeous!!
